Milind Sarwate
Milind is the Founder & CEO of Increate.
Milind is a Chartered Accountant (1983), Cost Accountant (1983), Company Secretary (1984)
and a CII-Fulbright Fellow (Carnegie Mellon University, U S A, 1996).
He has been awarded ICAI CFO Award (2011), CNBC TV-18 CFO Award (2012) & CFO India Hall of Fame induction (2013).
He brings 31 years of executive experience including long stints as CFO and CHRO in Marico & Godrej.
He also has 16 years of experience of being an Independent Director, with an audit committee specialization.
Since setting up Increate, he has gathered 7 years of experience in Advisory roles in Business Value Creation.
Milind’s independent directorships, all with audit committee roles, cover companies across a range-
both listed – Asian Paints, Mahindra Finance, FSN e-Commerce (Nykaa), Metropolis Healthcare, SeQuent Scientific & Matrimony.com, and
unlisted- Hexaware, OmniActive Health, Eternis & WheelsEMI.
Milind has been on listed company boards since 2005.
His previous board memberships include Mindtree, Geometric, Glenmark, International Paper, House of Anita Dongre, and CARE Ratings.
He also serves on the Advisory Board of Educo, a School Support NGO.
Manorama Kotian
Manorama anchors Increate’s Social Enterprises.
She has completed a post graduate qualification in Social Work from IGNOU.
She also holds a Diploma in Youth development & Social Change from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Commerce graduation degree from University of Bombay.
She has been working in the social sector for the past 8 years, while her overall corporate & administrative experience is over 2 decades.
R. Kannan
Kannan comes with long experience of over 4 decades in the Godrej Group. His academic origins were in the streams of Commercial and Cost accounting.
However, his career in Godrej spanned the fields of finance, Human resources and administration- across several businesses and companies.
His tenure includes a 3-year stint in Indonesia as the Chief of HR of Godrej Indonesia.
After superannuating from Godrej, Kannan has been following his passions- work with social and religious organisations,
personal philanthropy, investments, singing and dramatics. He is based in Mumbai.
